Established in 1934 the Club has a mixture of dinghy sailors, cruiser sailors, motorboat enthusiasts and "social sailors" amongst its members.
While there is extremely competitive racing throughout the various fleets over the summer, a large part of the activity during the summer is taken up with Junior Sailing Courses. These courses are run by the club in conjunction with ISA trained instructors and cater for children from 10 years old to 18 years old.
