'Redwater' BBC Drama Filmed In Dunmore Airs 14th May 2017

A new BBC drama - 'Redwater' was filmed in our own lovely Dunmore East village last April/May 2016. Two of the main characters from Eastenders; Alfie and Kat Moon, travel to Ireland to the fictional village of Redwater to find Kats son - and a tale with twists and turns ensues!

Dunmore in pure Sunny Southeast tradition ensured that the weather was fantastic for the filming, and many of the locals were drafted in as extras. We were delighted as a community to have the opportunity to showcase our Village on such a high profile programme, and hope that the series is a great success!
